The MAXine Boom Stand from Matthews is a compact, easy-set-up boom stand with a maximum height of 12.83' (3.91 m). Made from aluminum, MAXine weighs just 13.5 lbs (6 kg) and has a small footprint of only 28" (70cm) and no rear-protruding arm, so tight spaces aren't a problem--you can even set up in a corner. It can operate at its full horizontal length of 78" (198cm) at a height of 82" (208cm) with a maximum load of 10 lbs (4.5kg). It can also operate 16" (40cm) below the horizontal. A 3:1 weight ratio of counterbalance to fixture weight is recommended. A carrying bag is included.
