This is a Chimera Adjustable Speed Ring. It is designed to attach a Quartz or Daylite Softbank to most lighting fixtures that accept accessories 12 - 21.5" diameter.

Each metal tab has multiple holes, for attaching the speed ring to various lighting fixtures.
