A DMX controlled electronic, variable voltage power supply for use with 1200W 80V high performance lamps in the Pacific profile range and the Rama 175 High Performance Fresnel. The direct mains power supply removes the need for a dimmer while delivering the 80V, high output, high colour temperature of the tungsten halogen lamps, originally developed for Selecon, favoured by lighting designers and operators alike. The power supply fits into industry distribution systems for moving lights i.e. a mains power circuit and DMX network. Along with the convenience, performance advantages, energy saving and reduction in luminaire size and weight Selecon’s 80V DMX Power Supply allows for significant capital cost savings on a venue’s permanent dimming and air conditioning systems. While for temporary production installation the DMX Power Supply delivers the performance and control of a fixed luminaire using the same cable and control distribution as for a moving light removing the need for dimmers and associated multi core cables saving both money and time.
