The Kata CRC-12 Compact Rain Cover (Blue) is a waterproof nylon cape with crystal clear TPU panels on the camcorder control side. It is designed to fit a Sony PMW-EX-3, Canon XL HD1 or similar sized camcorder. There is a sleeve that allows the use of the rain cover with the LCD monitor screen flipped open. It covers the camcorder and is secured by quick pull drawstrings. The rain cover was successfully tested in a weather laboratory.
