Altair EF-204 Four Channel Intercom Master Station
The ALTAIR EF-204, wired intercom base station, is housed in a standard 1U high enclosure and incorporates a power supply capable of powering the entire intercom system. It has 4 independent channels A, B, C and D, that are easily linked by the programmable LINK function. The power supply has the capacity to power up to 60 EM-201 beltpacks or 20 ES-200 desktop units.
All elements of the system incorporate a microcontroller to implement various functions such as remote mute, PTT "Push to talk" (momentary or locking) and conditional interruption of the program, among other functions.
It has remote mute of all microphones in the system, as well as remote shutdown of audible buzzers to operate in public environments, allowing the luminous "CALL" function.
The station can be used as a single central station or as a remote desktop station for complex multi-station multi-channel installations.
The unit has "TALK" (open microphone), "LISTEN" keys, with individual adjustment of the listening level and "CALL" key per channel. In addition, a block of 4 programmable keys allows to establish groups of communication with direct access.
The EF-204 base station has program input (mic/line) with volume control and send to the assigned channels, as well as microphone output to send indications and announcements by public address (P.A.) with activation of multipurpose relay.
The front panel incorporates a high-efficiency speaker, a gooseneck microphone connector and a headset jack.
